The Nuremberg war crime trials were interrupted by news of violence against civil rights protesters in Selma, Alabama. An unlikely hero, Eleanor M. Josaitis, harkened to the cause of racism, poverty and injustice so much that she uprooted her family from Taylor, Michigan and moved to the heart of the city, setting out to help heal Detroit through intelligent and practical actions. This film will explore the beginning struggles and joys of birthing and establishing the Detroit jewel known as Focus:HOPE.
