The story of the cocaine trade and the war against it - a war that cannot be won and whose victims are the poor, the powerless and the dispossessed. Western governments should change their policies and western consumers should give up consumption: the real cost is not on the label.
Since its conception in 2007 the film has been supported by the International Drugs Policy Consortium, run by Mike Trace, former deputy drugs czar. Virtually all NGOs and think tanks interested in drugs' policy reform are members of IDPC, which is funded by the Beckley Foundation. This network of these organisations is at the centre of our plans to engage the interested audience in the film. We will work with them to create a nationwide programme of screenings. Baroness Meacher has already agreed to screen the film in the House of Lords.
